HISTORY

Glen Ewin Estate was established in 1843.  It was known for its large quantity of jams made under direction of horticulturalist George McEwin. The Wauchope family bought the property in 1991 and have since built the heritage listed property up to be the beautiful Wedding venue and tourist destination it is today.

The historic Glen Ewin Estate property is home to two exceptional wedding venues, The Pulpshed and The Gatehouse that sit amongst sweeping lawns and glistening lakes.

If you would like to book a private venue tour with our wedding event team, please contact enquiries@glenewinestate.com.au, to arrange a time for your visit.

The cellar door is home to many local Adelaide Hills wines and delicious local produce. The menu changes fortnightly, with breakfast and lunch being served Thursday to Sunday. Wine and Gin Tastings are a popular activity in the cellar door with our Estate made Fig Gin being a key aspect of this experience.

Aside from weddings, Glen Ewin Estate is home to various events throughout the year to celebrate different occasions and participate in community events in the Adelaide Hills region, Statewide and National event.
