Today (15 March 2015) we celebrated my wife’s 70 birthday at your establishment. We were seated in the area at the top farthest from the bar.
From my first contact with Mick Hopton when booking the venue some months ago, to today’s celebration everything was as perfect as could possibly be. On our arrival today for a 1200 start the tables were all prepared beautifully and staff were beyond reproach. I name two staff, not because they were any more exceptional than others but they were the only names I can recall. Reahna greeted us and was exceptionally professional and friendly in her approach. Clare waited on our table throughout the day along with other female staff members.
The food supplied was excellent, with extremely positive comments from all our guests. There was certainly no paucity of food and in fact we took some home at completion. Two female staff members persevered in trying to light the candles on our cake but the wind eventually got the better of them.
From go to whoa nothing could have been done better.
I congratulate you on your front of house staff, the kitchen staff and whoever prepared the table.
We are back at your venue on the 29 of March for another 70. (It doesn’t seem that long ago that we were attending 21 celebrations, 40, 50, 60 etc.)

We have just had the most beautiful day at the Bistro & Cellar Door and I wanted to ask you to thank the staff who looked after our group. The service was exceptional and we were made to feel very welcome. Everyone was very happy with their meals, there was so much food! I am glad we chose that menu.
The weather and gorgeous setting certainly assisted our day being very special. A lot of planning goes in to a day like this and we could not be happier with the outcome. Please pass on this email to all the staff who made the day so special!
Please accept my sincerest thanks for hosting our conference and making it so special. You personally were the difference between a good and a fantastic conference. Your service, attention to detail and friendly manner was exceptional and you couldn’t do enough for all of us. You looked after the team as if we were “family” and we felt right at home. Many of the team came up to me and commented how nice you were and how exceptional the service was at dinner Thank you so much for everything.
In addition would you pass on my highest compliments to your chef who I only briefly met at breakfast. He is brilliant and we would like him to know that all our team “loved” all the dishes. They kept on raving how delicious the food was and how well it was presented. Please say a special ”thankyou” to him and his staff.
I am so pleased we selected Glen Ewin Estate as our venue for this year’s conference, it was exceptional in every area. Thank you again.
Wow! What can I say, other than a 'Big Thank You' not only to you, but all the Staff assisting on Saturday, especially Mick, for providing fabulous service, delicious food and great venue!
My dear Mum who is nearly 90 (and attended at the last minute! ) along with my family and friends, all expressed how much they enjoyed themselves. My 60th Birthday celebration was just the best day and will be a memorable day for me to cherish, thank you again.
We would like to send out a massive and heartfelt thank you to all those who made our wedding at Glen Ewin Estate on the 18th of Jan! To the beautiful Ally for all her hard work preparing everything in the lead up to the wedding for her patience with me and just for being the most amazing wedding coordinator any bride could wish for! To all the front of house staff and especially Rita for attending to all our and guests needs, to the wonderful staff for their quick service, friendliness and over all hard work and of course the back of house staff for the amazing food! The chefs did such an amazing job! The food was divine and nearly every guest commented that it was the best food they had ever eaten!!

I am writing this letter as a sincere note of appreciation to you and your team for a wonderful job done in our Christmas function held in the Pulpshed on Saturday 14th December 2013.
All the guests were extremely delighted with the presentation, superb food, quality of service and the friendliness and professionalism of the staff.
On a personal note I would like to thank you and Alex for the assistance you both provided in the lead up to the function. The assistance you both provided was extremely helpful and addressed all my queries which ultimately resulted in the success of the function.

I had the privilege of attending the formal last night at your lovely establishment. My husband is the canteen manager at the school. I realise it is always more difficult to cater for a vegetarian menu but I would like to complement you and your staff on a wonderful evening. The food was the best presentation of vegetarian menu I have ever had and your staff were extremely friendly and professional. Thanks for a great evening.
I absolutely cannot speak highly enough of the professionalism & dedication demonstrated by Glen Ewin. Our coordinator Ally was always happy to listen & calm down a nervous bride! The team went above & beyond to ensure our day ran smoothly & that it was exactly how we'd envisioned it!

Just to let you know what a great time my group had on Sunday during the Sunday Sessions. The music, food and wine were all commendable and I would also like you to know how much we appreciated the service of Ashleigh who took care of us for the day. I / We had a fabulous time at Glen Ewin, the venue and view was amazing, the service & staff were on the ball and the food was scrumptious! My colleagues all commented on how they thoroughly enjoyed themselves and particularly made reference to how yummy the food was and the gorgeous setting.
We definitely would love to return and I will highly recommend your venue to others.
